Extremely poor service
I ordered and paid for these ear buds in July 2020 and waited almost 30 days for them to arrive. They worked well until mid January when I contacted them with video clips depicting the fact that they would not charge.
I've been without the ear buds since.
In summary, I paid for the ear buds 9 months ago and they have been available to me to use for 5 of those 9 months -- that's 55% of the time .... and trending down.
If you bought a car but it was in the shop 45% of time, would you think that was acceptable?
If you bought a phone but it had to send it back to Apple for 4 of the first 9 months you owned it, would you think that was acceptable?
More importantly, the next time you had to buy a car or a phone, would you buy the same brand? Of course you wouldn't!!
If you had a friend or acquaintance that wanted to buy a car or a phone, would you recommend that they buy the same brand?
Of course you wouldn't (if you wanted to keep that friend or acquaintance)!!
Honestly, -- if this is the best Winnergear can do they need to get into a different business. This is unacceptable by any measure!!!!!
In addition to paying for something I do not get to use, Winnergear's customer service is extremely poor -- the ONLY access to Winnergear customer service is through a chat line that takes a minimum of 24 hours to get an answer from and the answers perpetually start with the phrase "Due to the high demand of our excellent product...you're going to have to wait." What they mean is -
we have your money.
You don't.
You have to wait.
And, when they break, we will "honor our warrantee" but its likely to take months to get you a replacement.
